Endeavour Industries has made two new senior appointments to increase employment opportunities for disabled people in the Goulburn region. Sonya White has been appointed General Manager and Mark Fenton-Jones has been appointed Communications and Marketing Consultant.
“I’m excited with both these appointments which will support the Board’s intention to expand Endeavour’s core business areas,” said Geoff Kettle, the Chair of the Board of Management. “Both are experienced professionals who are committed to expanding employment opportunities.”
Ms White was previously a marketing executive with Essential Employment & Training in Goulburn. She will take over from Margaret Clarke who has headed up the disability enterprise which she founded more than 30 years ago.
“My passion is supporting disabled people searching for employment. I have followed Endeavour Industries for many years and I want to continue the great job that Margaret has already done,” Ms White said.
As a former senior editor and journalist, Mr Fenton-Jones said he is looking forward to working with Endeavour’s management team to promote the organisation’s services more widely.
Ms Clarke will continue her involvement with Endeavour Industries through her new role as a member of the organisation’s Board of Management. She plans to be involved in discussions around Goulburn Mulwaree’s recycling contract.
Endeavour provides recycling, commercial laundry and small business services that employ more than 70 disabled employees.
These changes followed the recent appointment of high profile Goulburn identity and former mayor Geoff Kettle as Chair of the Board of Management.
